Style Crush | Kendall Jenner

Style Crush: Kendall Jenner

I willingly admit that I am a huge fan of the Kardashians. Yes, I know, it's "trash TV", but I love it and I watch all their shows religiously (much to my roommate's dismay). It has been interesting to see how their style has evolved since the show started, and I have especially been really loving Kendall Jenner's street style lately. I love that she has a very minimalistic look that is so chic and effortless. She definitely has that "It-girl" look. While many of her pieces are way more expensive than most people could possibly afford, her look isn't too difficult to duplicate.

Zara Sale

So I bought a few things from the Zara sale that is currently going on and I just received them yesterday so I wanted to let you know what I thought about the items I bought!

I love these booties! They are very stiff when you first wear them, but that is because they are made of authentic leather. They'll have to be broken in a bit but other than that they are absolutely perfect. I really like them because they look pretty similar to the Acne Jensen Boots but for so much cheaper! They are just amazing and I love that they can easily be dressed up or down for different occasions. I also like that it has a good sized heel.

I was a little hesitant about this top at first if I'm honest. I wasn't sure if I would like the waffle looking material but it ended up being really cute! It is a very flattering shirt and super comfortable. The leather piping along the shirt adds a really cute, somewhat edgy touch, without being too much. The only thing I am less excited about is that it is much shorter in the front. While it isn't a deal breaker for me, I would have preferred if it was a bit longer.

Ok, so at first I really loved this bag. I loved the color, I loved the size, I loved the quality, I loved the way it looked when I modeled it in the mirror. However, the more I thought about it, the more impractical it became. The purse is very open, except for a little zipper in the center. I figured my wallet would go in there, but it doesn't even fit. I then began thinking about the other things that would end up in the open parts, like my phone. It would be very easy for someone to just reach in and take anything, and because I live in a city it would be very unwise for me to walk down a busy street with a practically open purse. I was bummed as I was pretty excited about it, but it just doesn't make sense for me to have it, so I'll (unfortunately) be returning it.

So that's what I got. Overall, I'm very happy with the booties and the top. I'll just keep my eye out for a more practical purse.

Did any of you take advantage of this amazing sale? If so, let me know what you got and what you thought of it!
